Job Responsibility:

(Customer Service)

Handle customer inquiries:

Answer phone calls, emails, and chats regarding shipments, tracking, and billing.

Resolve customer issues:

Address complaints, delays, and other problems related to shipments.

Provide shipment tracking:

Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers on their status.

Manage documentation:

Prepare and review invoices, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.

Coordinate with carriers:

Communicate with shipping companies and freight forwarders to ensure smooth shipment flow.

Ensure customer satisfaction:

Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

Process payments and orders:

Handle customer payments and process shipping orders accurately.

Understand freight rates:

Knowledge of different shipping modes and their associated costs.

Negotiate with carriers:

Obtain competitive quotes from shipping lines and freight forwarders.

Provide accurate quotes:

Calculate and provide pricing for customers based on their shipping needs.

Develop pricing strategies:

Analyse market conditions and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

Manage contracts:

Negotiate and manage contracts with shipping lines and freight forwarders.

Ensure compliance:

Adhere to industry regulations and company policies regarding pricing.
