The Customer Sales Representative for the Saree Department is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product knowledge, assisting customers in selecting sarees, and achieving sales targets. The role requires a pleasant personality, good communication skills, and a passion for ethnic fashion and textiles.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting sarees based on their preferences, occasions, and budget.
Provide detailed information about fabric types, weaving styles, designs, and draping methods.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of current saree collections, trends, and promotions.
Handle customer queries, concerns, and feedback courteously and professionally.
Achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
Arrange and display sarees attractively to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Ensure stock levels are maintained and assist in inventory management.
Process billing and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
Coordinate with the store manager and visual merchandising team for product placement and promotions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the saree section.
Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Minimum 12th pass; a diploma or degree in Retail Management or Fashion is an advantage.
Experience:
1-3 years of retail experience (preferably in ethnic wear or saree sales).
Skills Required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong product knowledge and fashion sense.
Sales and negotiation abilities.

Basic computer and billing system knowledge.
