RE to join our solar energy sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for initiating contact with potential business clients, explaining our solar products/services, and setting appointments or generating qualified leads for the sales team. This role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a basic understanding of the solar or renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to prospective B2B clients from provided leads or databases.
Explain solar products, services, and benefits to potential clients in a clear and persuasive manner.
Qualify leads based on the company's sales criteria.
Schedule meetings or demos for the field sales team with decision-makers.
Maintain detailed records of calls, interactions, and customer information.
Follow up on previous interactions to nurture leads.
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call and lead generation targets.
Coordinate with the sales and marketing team for smooth lead handoff.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and solar technology basics.
Requirements:
Proven experience in telecalling, telesales, or inside sales .
Prior experience in the
solar or renewable energy
sector is a strong plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
Basic understanding of solar energy systems and their business benefits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
0-3 years of experience in sales or telemarketing.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
