1. Provides a warm, genuine welcome for every customer and develops the conversation to make a personal connection by finding out about their work, family, lifestyle or interests 2. Recognises returning customers, uses their name and builds on previous conversations to personalise the interaction and make them feel special 3. Offers hospitality (refreshments, magazines etc.) to customers who will be waiting in the Customer Lounge 4. Builds rapport with customers by displaying positive body language, listening attentively, acknowledging what the customer tells them and regularly checking understanding of the customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements 5. Asks questions to establish the customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements (e.g. service/repair, new or Approved vehicle) and guide them to the next step 6. Adapts own approach to be easy to do business with and provide what the customer wants from their visit to the Retailer. 7. Manages several sets of customers by moving between groups to maintain contact and respond to their needs 8. Where appropriate, introduces the appropriate colleague to discuss specific requirements (e.g. a Sales Executive or Service Advisor) and provides a brief summary of the customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements 9. Throughout the interaction with the customer, spots opportunities to talk about promotions (e.g. winter tyres) or additional JLR services or products (e.g. JLR Gear) that will meet their needs 10. Manages the reception environment and ambience (e.g. lighting, music, general tidiness and cleanliness) in accordance with operational guidelines 11. Records and updates the customer\xe2\x80\x99s details on the Lead Management System and Customer Database to record information that can be used to deliver a personalised, dependable experience to the customer in the future TEAMWORKING 12. Uses an understanding of the relevant KPIs and Standards (e.g. vehicle display standards) to manage own performance and contribution to the team 13. Takes a proactive approach to identify any recurring problems which affect the customer experience, and raises these with the appropriate colleague (e.g. the Service Manager).
