Air Liquide India caters to an expanding merchant market network to which it supplies Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen, Helium and Specialty gases, through various supply systems - pipelines, tankers, cylinders, on-site plants or other specialized modes, depending on the product, location, and customer needs.

Missions and Responsibilities

Summary/Objective
Lead Operation & maintenance of Bulk/PG customer installations, Application projects execution, Application equipment preventive/breakdown maintenance new project executions. Track project progress to plan and communicate project status and performances to internal and external stakeholders. Proactively seek opportunities to improve project delivery time and maintenance costs by remain focused on safety.

  • Survey of the customer site for new installations and perform risk identification as per the defined rules.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team, ALTEC, and Sales teams to develop and & optimize project solutions and Project Execution Plans.
  • Manage project progress and risk mitigation during all phases of assigned projects including: design, procurement, installation, commissioning & closeout.
  • Create & present monthly project status reports and chair monthly project steering committee meetings.
  • Execution of installation activities of Cryogenic storage tanks, vaporizers and integrated Valve Skids, pipeline Fabrication, installation of PRV stations .
  • Preparing Preventive maintenance plan of installations, preparing & controlling the annual maintenance budget.
  • Manage good relationships with Customers, vendors and project resources to streamline project implementation activities. Conduct customer-facing installation reviews and status updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Works in cooperation with the team and cross-functional teams to continuously improve the work processes. Promotes experience sharing.
  • Utilization of idle assets to optimize the CAPEX for the new installations.
  • Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools - Pipe size & pressure drop calculations, Oxygen velocity calculations, MOC of materials, mechanical/electrical codes.
  • Knowledge of OEM equipment manufacturers.
  • Capable of developing, implementing and supporting basic electrical distribution hardware in an
efficient and safe manner.

Competencies and Profile

Job Requirements - Educational Qualification & Basic Competencies:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and with minimum experience of 8-10 in installation and Maintenance
  • To provide support to customers in PESO application with drawing, documentation, technical solution w.r.t regulatory norms.
  • To ensure installations comply with all the statutory rules, regulations and safety.
  • CAD experience
  • Open for traveling
  • Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues. Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are required.
  • Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success.
  • Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into implementation plans.
