The Customer Documentation Developer is responsible for independently creating high-quality, user-centric technical documentation for complex optical networking products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing documentation schedules, and delivering web-based content--including API documentation aligned with Agile and DevOps practices, while adhering to structured writing and corporate quality standards
Design and develop high-quality, customer-oriented technical documentation for complex optical networking products, aligning with SDLC, DDLC, and structured writing principles.
Independently manage documentation schedules and deliverables, ensuring timely releases that align with product development timelines.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including PLM, R&D, and Test to gather accurate technical information for documentation.
Develop and maintain API documentation and integrate content into web-based publications using tools like Arbortext, Oxygen XML, and graphic editors (e.g., SnagIt, CorelDraw).
Leverage Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to align documentation workflows with continuous software delivery cycles.
Utilize defect-tracking and content management systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to manage content lifecycle, reviews, and updates.
Create single-sourced, reusable content within a structured content management environment to ensure consistency and scalability.
Continuously improve documentation quality and usability, applying expert product knowledge and adhering to corporate standards and quality benchmarks.
