Job Summary
Daymart Group, a leading retail chain in Kerala specializing in consumer goods, is seeking a dedicated Customer Care Executive for our Pattambi store. In this entry-level role, you will handle customer inquiries, process returns/exchanges, and support marketing efforts like WhatsApp promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers daily at the store counter, resolving inquiries about products, pricing, and availability within 5-10 minutes.
Handle incoming calls and WhatsApp messages on offers, stock checks, and complaints, providing accurate information and escalating complex issues to the Store Manager.
Share daily/weekly store promotions via WhatsApp broadcast lists to customers, tracking engagement and feedback to improve outreach.
Process returns and exchanges according to company policy , documenting each case in the return register to maintain accuracy.
Maintain complaint logs and customer communication records in the store's digital system, ensuring 100% documentation for follow-up and resolution within 24 hours.
Support in-store marketing by coordinating promotions (e.g., signage setup, demo events) and assisting the Store Manager with customer flow during peak hours (e.g., weekends).
Contribute to a positive store atmosphere by multitasking in a busy environment, including basic inventory checks for customer queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Higher Secondary (12th pass), Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
Strong communication skills in Malayalam and basic English (verbal and written).
Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities and patience in handling complaints.
Basic proficiency in computer operations and WhatsApp Business for messaging.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings/weekends.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
Prior experience in retail, customer service, or call centers.
Familiarity with POS systems or basic sales techniques.
