Patient Engagement Coordinator/Customer Care Coordinator

building strong communication with patients
, ensuring that appointments are scheduled smoothly, and queries are addressed promptly. You will serve as a vital link between patients and the care team, helping improve the overall healthcare experience.

Responsibilities
Connect with patients to schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments through
phone calls, emails, and messages
.
Keep patient data updated in
Excel sheets, EMR systems (Athena knowledge is an advantage), and other internal platforms
.
Provide clear, polite, and solution-oriented responses to patient inquiries.
Work closely with internal departments to support smooth healthcare operations.
Track performance metrics including call volumes, appointments scheduled, and timely follow-ups.
Maintain accuracy in documentation while meeting departmental daily/weekly goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong
English communication abilities
(both written and verbal).
Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office tools
- Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Typing proficiency of at least
35 WPM
with accuracy.
Detail-oriented with strong
organizational and multitasking skills
.
Positive, adaptable, and eager to work in a team-driven environment.
Comfortable working under deadlines and handling a fast-paced workflow.
Prior exposure to
customer service, healthcare coordination, or similar roles
(1-3 years) will be an added advantage.
