The department of Group Trucks Operations (GTO) Quality & Engineering (Q&E) is part of a global function that develops product and process solutions, leading to operational excellence. Q&E Bangalore department consists of Technical Preparation Engineers (TPEs), Software Process Controllers (SWPC), Virtual Manufacturing Engineers (VME), Product Preparation Engineer (PPD), Customer Adaptation Design Engineer and Diagnostic Engineering & Test Developers (DETD).



Now Q&E BLR is looking for Customer Adaptation Design Engineers to join our excellent team with great colleagues. You will be part of GTO transformation journey in alignment with strategic objectives.



The QE CA India team will support with development, maintenance, and conversions of CA solutions.

What will u do

As a Customer Adaptation Design Engineer, you will work closely with Customer Adaptation departments. Interact with internal GTO/GTT/GTP teams to customize and integrate our products or services to meet individual client needs.

Primary Responsibilities


----------------------------

Customization and Design solutions in response to customer requests and continuously enhance and maintain existing CA solutions. Support with CA quotations, including feasibility study, legal compliance, lead time and cost impact for International Manufacturing organization Maintain existing CA solutions in accordance with Intro block introductions and support with CA conversion Support and develop method and tools for Customer Adaptation needs. Ie Participate in CAPDM project for testing and preparing structures for implementation support Engaged in CA Networks to uphold product competence, follow business rules and other relevant quality standards applicable for CA business. Work closely with various departments and teams across the CA community. Generate regular reports highlighting efficiency gaps, non-conformities, or critical deviations and develop action plans for process stabilization.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Planning and estimation skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering 1-3 years of automotive experience in Designing or Engineering Operations Good knowledge of Vehicle Architecture and Variants Knowledge on Vehicle Assembly Process Knowledge of the parts documentation and structuring (KOLA) Knowledge on Creo View and Creo Parametric Software
