What are we looking for?
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SFMC functionalities, including Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder. Knowledge of SQL and AMPscript for data segmentation and dynamic content creation within SFMC. oCampaign Management: Proficiency in configuring and customizing SFMC components, including data extensions, email templates, and automations. oBest Practices: Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability, segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing. oProblem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SFMC and campaign execution. oCollaboration Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. oAttention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and ensuring accuracy and consistency across coding and email rendering. oProficiency in HTML and CSS: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in coding responsive HTML email templates that render consistently across various email clients and devices. oEmail Design Best Practices: Understanding of email design. oAPI Integration: Exposure to API integration to fully utilize SFMC's API capabilities. oSalesforce Marketing Cloud Social Studio: End to end understanding of SFMC Social Studio. oReporting and Analysis: Experience in campaign reporting and analysis, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights. oGraphic Design: Basic graphic design skills to assist in creating visual elements for email templates. oA/B Testing: Experience in setting up and analyzing A/B tests to optimize email campaign performance. oAccessibility: Awareness of email accessibility best practices to ensure emails are inclusive and compliant with accessibility standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
oCampaign Planning and Requirements Gathering: oCollaborate with Project Manager and/or marketing stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and requirements by carefully reviewing briefs and seeking clarification before the build along with highlighting risks (if any) oAssist in the execution of campaign strategies, including audience segmentation, journey mapping, and content creation. oProvide guidance on leveraging SFMC capabilities to achieve campaign goals effectively. SFMC Configuration and Development: oConfigure and customize SFMC components, including data extensions, email templates, landing pages, and automations, to support campaign execution. oBuild and maintain various standard data extensions/customer master within SFMC for accurate segmentation and personalization. oCreate and manage automated journeys, including welcome series, nurture campaigns, and triggered communications. Campaign Execution and Management: oSet up and execute email, SMS, direct mail, social/paid and other marketing broad cast or journey-based campaign using SFMC tools. oCreate Cloud pages within SFMC tool as per brief provided. oMonitor campaign performance and engagement metrics, providing regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders. oConduct A/B testing and optimization to improve campaign effectiveness and customer experience. HTML Email Template Development: oDesign and develop HTML email templates (from PSDs) optimized for various email clients, ensuring compatibility and responsiveness across desktop and mobile devices. oImplement dynamic content and personalized elements using personalization languages (example AMPscript or SSJS) to create dynamic and personalized email experiences. Email Build Testing: oConduct thorough testing to verify email rendering across different email clients and devices to ensure consistent display and functionality. Email Design Best Practices: oStay up to date with email design best practices, industry trends, and email marketing standards to create visually compelling and effective email campaigns. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: oIdentify and resolve any HTML/CSS-related issues that may arise during email campaign development or execution. Work Orchestration and Data hygiene: oFully understand ticketing/request management tool and accurately record updates, data points, timestamps etc. to provide seamless campaign experience to both internal and external stakeholders. oAdhere to all Desktop Procedures (DTPs).
