Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that the solutions you create are not only functional but also optimized for performance and user experience. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency. - Iteratively collaborate with stakeholders to understand and develop business requirements. - Convert business requirements into software design artifacts. - Collaborate with other software architects to comply with and develop software architecture. - Participate in code review process by assessing the code from developers, testing and verifying the results before delivery. - Write and maintain design documents for the product. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microservices and Light Weight Architecture, Microsoft Azure DevOps. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services. - Experience as a software designer, developer or similar software engineering role (experience 8 years). - Knowledge on REST APIs, test-driven development, unit testing, test automation, Azure DevOps, cloud services (Azure), Serverless computing and CI/CD pipelines. - Programming skills: Experience in e.g. Javascript or Typescript, C#, SQL or T-SQL or similar programming languages, .NET, Angular. - Experience in describing software design with diagrams and mockups (e.g. Figma). - Knowledge of information security standards, such as OWASP. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microservices and Light Weight Architecture. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
