Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the applications align with organizational goals and user needs. You will also participate in testing and refining applications to enhance functionality and user experience, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle. Prerequisite for RDE - Translate business processes into AI-driven workflows, integrating Agentic AI patterns and SAP's AI services to deliver scalable, intelligent, and automation-ready applications. - Own end-to-end implementation, from data and model integration through solution architecture, development, testing, and deployment within SAP landscapes and customer environments. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, and customer teams to drive AI adoption, optimize models in production, and continuously enhance solution quality and impact. - Experience with Transforming processes with AI & infusing Agentic AI innovations in SAP space. - Strategic thinking, client-focused articulation & effective demo/communication experience. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance. - Continuously assess and improve application performance and user experience. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Enterprise Portal Architecture. - Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies. - Experience with integration of SAP solutions with other enterprise applications. - Familiarity with user interface design and user experience best practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP Enterprise Portal Architecture. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
