Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that project requirements are met, troubleshooting issues, and providing innovative solutions to enhance application performance. You will also engage in discussions with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to the applications, ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs. Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of software projects and fostering a collaborative environment among team members. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Mentor junior team members to foster their professional growth. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Strong understanding of application design principles and best practices. - Experience with web services and RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
