Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: -Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making -Integrate data from SAP systems using OData services and CDS views -Optimize data models for performance and scalability -Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements -Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational standards - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: -Experience as a Power BI Designer and Developer -Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices -Hands-on experience integrating OData services and CDS views -Familiarity with SAP systems and data structures - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). - Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts. - Experience with data visualization techniques and dashboard creation. - Familiarity with SQL and database management systems. - Ability to work with APIs and integrate various data sources. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
