Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies, and ensuring that the software solutions meet client requirements effectively and efficiently. You will engage in problem-solving and decision-making processes that impact the project and the team, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with client expectations. - Act as a Windchill SME and guide the team on technical and functional aspects. -Collaborate with multiple teams and drive critical solution decisions. -Take ownership of customization, configuration, and problem resolution. -Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must to Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies. - Experience with configuration management tools. - Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues. - Expert in PTC Windchill customization, workflows, and integrations. - Strong skills in Java, JSP, Windchill APIs, and UI customization. -Experience in deployment, upgrades and Migration. -Familiar with Agile/Scrum, configuration tools (Git/SVN), and CI/CD. -Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide scalable solutions. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in PTC Windchill. - A 15 years full time education is required.
