Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the applications are robust and scalable to meet the evolving needs of the organization. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices within the team, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with business objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive project alignment and progress. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scala. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java Enterprise Edition, Java Full Stack Development, .Net Full Stack Development. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with cloud platforms and services. - Proficiency in version control systems such as Git. - Familiarity with agile development practices and tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Scala. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
