Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, ensuring that the software solutions meet the evolving demands of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for software development. - Design, implement, and maintain software applications that meet business needs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot. - Deep expertise in Java (Java 8-17) and the Spring Framework (V5-6) and it's ecosystem - Strong experience in REST API design and microservices architecture - Proficient in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Ansible) - Skilled in performance optimization and application scalability - Experience in code reviews, and mentoring - Experience in Azure cloud native applications, and container orchestrations e.g. Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Services - Agile Methodology - Experience dealing with legacy systems (EJB, or Struts) nice-to-have - Technical leadership nice-to-have" Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
