Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, ensuring that the applications you build are robust and scalable. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for application development. - Implement best practices in software development to enhance code quality and maintainability. - Data skills: being involved before in projects involves building and testing ETL/ELT for large datasets in production environment. - Python: highly skilled in Python and have experience at least one of DF libraries like pandas, polars, pyspark. - AWS: Understand the key concepts of serverless computing and event-driven architecture and has experience in using the following services: S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, Athena, Redshift, CloudWatch. - Understanding of IaC and has experience in building infrastructure using TF. - Understanding of modern cloud engineering best practices: git and version control, CI/CD. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Architecture, AWS Glue. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Familiarity with database management and data modeling techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Python (Programming Language). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
