Role Summary As a highly skilled DevOps Engineer II, you will be responsible for managing and scaling our cloud infrastructure and Deployment Pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Azure DevOps, Kubernetes/Docker Swarm, Terraform, and deployment pipelines. You will also play a key role in scripting, troubleshooting, and setting up continuous integration and deployment processes to ensure our systems are always up-to-date and performing optimally. This role requires a solid foundation in automation, scripting, and problem-solving to ensure efficient and reliable application delivery. Key Responsibilities o Assist in the implementation of an auto-scalable Kubernetes/Docker Swarm cluster using Terraform for infrastructure management o Create and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). o Implement continuous build tools and processes, ensuring smooth and efficient software releases. o Develop and execute deployment scripts for health checks, alerts, and infrastructure provisioning. o Oversee the configuration and management of application and infrastructure settings. o Manage and configure Azure DevOps for optimal team collaboration and automation. o Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes. o Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Config/Release and deployment and processes. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software releases and deployments. o Partners with Product and Scrum teams; contributes and exchanges knowledge and skills to meet group needs and goals; participates in resolving issues Required Qualifications o 2-4 years prior experience in a DevOps engineering role is required for this position o BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related software engineering field o Strong knowledge of, and experience with, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, deployment pipelines & best practices. o Solid knowledge of configuration management tools/Puppet, CI/CD principles and best practices. o Experience with deployment scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) o Experience with auto-scaling, Kubernetes clusters and containerization technologies o Understands Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts. o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex deployment issues o Willingness to work off-hours when necessary.
