Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure that the solutions you deliver are scalable and high-performing, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design solutions using IBM Maximo. oDevelop and maintain functional / technical design documentation for IBM Maximo applications. oProvide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation phase. oPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. oParticipate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the quality of the delivered solution. oParticipate in presales and asset development activities will be necessary. Professional & Technical Skills: Must have Strong experience in IBM Maximo. oMust have good understanding of EAM and Inventory Management processes. oMust have MAS 8 upgrade experience is a must. oMust have Experience in MAS 8 Mobile Solution development oGood to have Experience in Java, Python, SQL, and web technologies. oDeep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. oExperience in designing and developing customizations and extensions for IBM Maximo. oExperience in integrating IBM Maximo with other enterprise systems. oExperience in Maximo industry solutions like Maximo for Utilities or Oil & Gas. oIndustry experience in the relevant industry addon will be an added benefit. oExperience in Maximo Health & Predict or Visual inspections. oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM Maximo. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
