Summary We are looking for a skilled Oracle CC&B Technical Designer with strong expertise in Metering, Usage, and Rates modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, documenting, and supporting complex solutions in CC&B, ensuring alignment with business requirements and system capabilities. This role will act as a bridge between business analysts, developers, and testers to implement robust and scalable utility billing solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: o Design end-to-end technical solutions in CC&B for Metering, Usage, and Rates components. o Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed technical designs. o Lead and support the configuration of complex usage rules, bill determinants, and rate algorithms. o Work closely with functional teams to validate requirements and align system design. o Develop design documents including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Technical Design Specifications (TDS). o Review and validate development work to ensure alignment with design and standards. o Support integration design with Meter Data Management (MDM), Smart Metering Systems, and external interfaces. o Conduct impact analysis and provide technical guidance for enhancements, patches, and upgrades. o Participate in design review sessions and provide technical mentorship to junior team members. o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to metering, usage, and rates configuration. Professional & Technical Skills: o Deep understanding of CC&B technical architecture and data model. o Experience designing and configuring complex billing scenarios, usage rules, and rate engines. o Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). o Familiarity with CC&B scripting (e.g., Groovy), algorithms, and service scripts. o Strong experience working with Meter Data Management (MDM) systems and Smart Meter integration. o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. o Ability to produce clear, detailed technical documentation. Additional Information o 5+ years of experience working with Oracle CC&B, with focus on Metering, Usage, and Rate configuration. o Minimum 15 years of full-time education Degree in Engineering will be a plus o This position is based at our Bangalore office.
