Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to create scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure the software solutions are effective and efficient, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Build modern, responsive UIs using React.js/Angular and Redux with TypeScript. Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot. Design, query, and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL. Deploy and manage applications on AWS, implement serverless functions, and automate infrastructure using Terraform. Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and ensure application security, monitoring, and cost optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies. Roles & Responsibilities: - Frontend Development: Build modern, responsive UIs using React.js/Angular, Redux, TypeScript. Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, scalability, and performance. - Backend Development: Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot. Implement business logic, persistence (JPA/Hibernate), and unit testing (JUnit). Design and deploy serverless functions (AWS Lambda) where required. - Database Management: Design, query, and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL. Ensure database performance, reliability, and security. - Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications on AWS (S3, ECS, EKS, VPC, Lambda). Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform. Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Ensure application security, monitoring, and cost optimization. - Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, DevOps, Product). Participate in Agile ceremonies. - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Frontend: React.js, Angular, Redux, TypeScript - Backend: Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, JPA/Hibernate, JUnit - Databases: PostgreSQL, query optimization, database performance and security - Cloud: AWS (S3, ECS, EKS, VPC, Lambda) - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform - DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless functions - Collaboration: Agile methodologies, cross-functional teamwork - Application performance, scalability, security, and monitoring - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in React.js. - Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. - Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. - Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in React.js. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
