Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements. Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on AWS (ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, VPC, Route53, Global Accelerator). Design networking and security architectures, including VPCs, private gateways, IAM policies, and load balancers. Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform for consistent and automated deployments. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or equivalent). Manage Docker-based containerization and orchestrate workloads using ECS/EKS/Fargate. Implement robust logging, monitoring, and define SLA, SLO, and SLI. Roles & Responsibilities: - Cloud Architecture & Design: Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on AWS (ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, VPC, Route53, Global Accelerator). - Design networking and security architectures, including VPCs, private gateways, IAM policies, and load balancers. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform for consistent and automated deployments. Implement reusable modules and enforce best practices in infrastructure provisioning. - DevOps & CI/CD: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or equivalent). Automate application deployments, infrastructure changes, and configuration management. - Containerization & Orchestration: Manage Docker-based containerization and orchestrate workloads using ECS/EKS/Fargate. Optimize resource utilization and scaling for container workloads. - Monitoring & Reliability: Implement robust logging, monitoring, and define SLA, SLO, and SLI. - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - AWS Services: ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, VPC, Route53, Global Accelerator - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform - CI/CD: GitHub Actions (or equivalent) - Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate - Networking & Security: VPCs, private gateways, IAM policies, load balancers - Monitoring & Reliability: Logging, SLA, SLO, SLI management - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. - Strong understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Ability to automate processes and improve system reliability. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
