Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are tailored effectively to the requirements of the organization. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Core Java (Primary 1.8, Secondary 17). Roles & Responsibilities: - Implement and manage microservices architecture using Spring Boot. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes (K8s). - Utilize AWS services, particularly EKS and CloudWatch, for application deployment and monitoring. - Integrate and manage OpenSearch and Kibana for logging and monitoring. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Core Java (1.8 and 17) - Spring Boot and microservices architecture - Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development - Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration - AWS services, especially EKS and CloudWatch - OpenSearch and Kibana for monitoring and logging - Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot. - Strong understanding of RESTful web services and microservices architecture. - Experience with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular or React. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
