Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are tailored effectively to the requirements of the organization. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging. Write clean code to develop functional web applications. Troubleshoot and debug applications. Perform UI tests to optimize performance. Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic. Gather and address technical and design requirements. Provide training and support to internal teams. Build reusable code and libraries for future use. Roles & Responsibilities: - Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging. - Write clean code to develop functional web applications. - Troubleshoot and debug applications. - Perform UI tests to optimize performance. - Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic. - Gather and address technical and design requirements. - Provide training and support to internal teams. - Build reusable code and libraries for future use. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment) - Significant Microservices architecture and development skills - Significant experience with the Spring Framework (Persistence, REST, Messaging, Integrations) such as Spring Boot - Significant experience on core features of Spring such as Dependency Injection and Aspect-Oriented Programming, Spring Security etc. - Significant knowledge of SQL Database and NoSQL Database - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot. - Strong understanding of RESTful web services and microservices architecture. - Experience with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular or React. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
