Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are tailored effectively to the requirements of the organization. Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.). Roles & Responsibilities: - Build and manage infrastructure using AWS CDK / IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform optional). - Implement and manage containerized workloads on ECS and EKS clusters. - Develop and maintain Docker images and registries. - Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. - Manage artifact repositories with JFrog Artifactory. - Ensure code quality and security using SonarQube and BlackDuck. - Administer and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and workloads. - Maintain and monitor Linux-based environments. - Work closely with development and security teams to enforce DevSecOps best practices. - Proactively identify and resolve system and performance issues. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch - Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) - Containerization: Docker, ECS, EKS - CI/CD: GitHub Actions - Artifact Management: JFrog Artifactory - Code quality & security tools: SonarQube, BlackDuck - Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting - Linux environment management - DevSecOps best practices - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps. - Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
