Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the applications meet the required specifications and functionality. You will engage in discussions to understand user needs, provide insights on best practices, and guide the development process to achieve optimal results. Your role will also include troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to enhance application performance and user experience, ensuring that the final product aligns with organizational goals and user expectations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle SCM Transportation Management. - Strong understanding of application design principles and software development life cycle. - Experience with integration of transportation management systems with other enterprise applications. - Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Familiarity with database management and data modeling techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle SCM Transportation Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
