Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall team performance. - Continuously assess and improve development processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. "o Install/Upgrade/Migration of SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java based products such as S4H, PO, Solman, CPS, LVM, NWiDM, GRC, BOBJ Data Services, OpenText Archive Center .. o HANA Database and HANA Cockpit admin skills, Oracle and MSSQL DB administration o Solman CHARM, ITSM, EWA reports and alert config o Troubleshooting of issues, Ability to work in shifts and weekend work, Team player o Azure public cloud experience with running SAP systems in Azure o Clustering of SAP ABAP/Java instances and HANA Database using products such as VCS, Pacemaker.. o Sizing and Landscape design of SAP and 3rd party products o Well versed with Unix skills" . Worked on all the Hana Database Single tenant and multitenant Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration, SAP HANA DB Administration, Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Strong understanding of system architecture and integration. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems. - Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and deployment strategies. - Proficient in scripting and automation to streamline processes. "1. Contribute to coordination and planning of Application / Infrastructure related activities / outages 2. ITIL knowledge and experience in Incident management - Actively monitor service now queues and ensure no ticket/incident is left unattended" Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
