Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for software development. - Design, implement, and test software components to ensure they meet specified requirements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently. - Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools. Strong, hands-on experience with Teamcenter-SAP integration, especially T4S Develop and configure Teamcenter-SAP interfaces using: T4S/T5S (Teamcenter Gateway for SAP) SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or SAP PI/PO REST/SOAP services, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs Implement data mappings, transformation logic, routing rules, and error-handling components. Develop custom integration extensions using: Java JavaScript TCL (for T4S mapping logic) XML/XSLT (for mapping or API transformations) Build integrations for: Materials BOM (EBOM-MBOM mapping or synchronization) Change objects (ECN/ECO, workflows) Document datasets (DIRs, JT files) Classification data Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
