Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes to ensure the applications meet the highest standards of quality and functionality, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency in the development process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning. - Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAS Base & Macros. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with IBM Db2, MySQL, ControlM Administration. - Strong understanding of application design principles and software development life cycle. - Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues. - Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAS Base & Macros. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
