Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to create scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, ensuring that the software solutions you develop are not only functional but also efficient and user-friendly, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services applications and Data Migration, acting as the primary point of contact for the project. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. - Ability to define / propose process changes; and to client /stakeholder interactions - Involved in FSD preparations, carried out FUT, SIT & UAT during the phases related to business solutioning & getting confirmations from business on timely basis. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring the successful delivery of projects. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services and related technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in SAP Data Migration in SAP implementation projects - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP BOBJ. - Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques. - Experience with SQL and database management systems. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Solid grasp of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and version control. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
