Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop and configure software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to understand project requirements, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies, and ensuring that the software solutions meet client needs effectively. You will engage in problem-solving activities, contribute to design discussions, and support the implementation of software systems that enhance user experience and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: -Develop and customize Android Framework components and system services. -Design and integrate custom HALs, AIDL/HIDL interfaces, and middleware. -Optimize performance, boot time, memory, and stability for automotive systems. -Debug issues across Framework, HAL, Native, and Kernel layers. -Collaborate with hardware, BSP, and system software teams during bring-up. Professional & Technical Skills: -Strong Android Framework & HAL development experience and Boot Process. -C++ (11/14/17), Java/Kotlin, Linux internals. -Hands-on with AIDL/HIDL, Binder IPC, system services. -Debugging using logcat, systrace, dumpsys, dmesg. -Experience with AAOS, AOSP build system, Git/Gerrit. Good To Have: -Knowledge of automotive IVI systems, vehicle HAL, and AAOS stack. -Networking knowledge to debug issues. -Proficient in multi-threaded programming and middleware solution development in the Android environment. -Communication protocol SomeIP, CAN -Should have good Knowledge in SELinux Policy. Additional Information: - The candidate should have 7 to 10 5 years of experience - Degree in Computer Science/Information Science
