Summary: As an DeltaV Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, performance, and availability of Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and associated automation infrastructure. This role provides support to the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. Your typical work involves ensuring smooth operations, engagement with customer to integrate with shop-floor systems, and timely delivery of services to meet operational needs on the production system. Roles & Responsibilities: (The ideal candidate for the role has/is): - Participate in on-call rotations and front-line support to ensure system availability and providing timely response and resolution to control system issues. - Provide technical support to production teams for process control and automation systems. - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Ensure compliance with operational requirements. - Implement best practices for service delivery. - Conduct regular performance evaluations for the team. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix root causes of issues/incidents, minimizing downtime and customer impact. - Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and recovery activities for DeltaV software, and networking issues. - Develop and implement automation improvements and configuration changes with minimal production impact. - Participate in post-incident reviews and drive automation or process changes to prevent recurrence. - Ensure compliance with site, safety, and quality standards (GMP, GAMP, ISA-88/95). - Strong experience in Emerson DeltaV Batch, Base level configuration, and Graphics knowledge. Knowledge of Batch pharma Process with some design experience. Professional & Technical Skills: -Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Emerson DeltaV Configuration Studio / Control Studio. -Strong understanding of Batch Pharma Projects and Base Layer Configuration. DeltaV Operate/Live for HMI. -Total 7.5 to 10 years in automation engineering with hands-on DeltaV DCS support and configuration. -Experience on working with GMP, GAMP5, and validation protocols (especially for pharma or regulated industries). -Experience on executing FATs and SATs. Knowledge of IQ, OQ, PQ. Experience in managing production systems. -Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DCS DeltaV applications. -Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills for cross-functional teamwork -Flexibility to work with overlapping onsite/offshore time zones Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5-10 years of experience in DeltaV Batch. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
