Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements, with a strong emphasis on sustainability-driven design and development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions. Your role includes ensuring application performance, enhancing user experience, and contributing to organizational sustainability initiatives through responsible technology practices. Roles & Responsibilities: oPerform independently and develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME). oActively participate and contribute in team discussions. oProvide scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions to work-related problems. oDocument application processes and workflows with a focus on long-term maintainability and resource optimization. oParticipate in code reviews to ensure quality, best practices, and alignment with sustainable development standards. oOptimize application performance to reduce compute usage, enhance cloud efficiency, and support sustainability KPIs. oCollaborate with stakeholders to embed sustainability considerations in design, architecture, and deployment. Professional & Technical Skills: oMust Have: Proficiency in SAP BTP Datasphere & Sustainability. oStrong understanding of application development methodologies. oExperience with integration techniques and data management. oFamiliarity with cloud-based application deployment with a focus on optimizing resource consumption. oAbility to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently. oMandatory: Proven experience in applying Sustainability / Green IT principles in application design, cloud optimization, development, or operations. oKnowledge of sustainable coding practices, energy-efficient architecture, cloud carbon footprint optimization, or eco-friendly IT frameworks. oGood to Have: Functional experience or domain experience relevant to sustainable processes (EHS, ESG, COP30, green ledger & UNEP KPI's). Additional Information: oMinimum 2 years of experience in SAP BTP Datasphere. oThis position is based in our Bengaluru office. oA minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required. oCandidates without demonstrated sustainability experience will not be considered.
