Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are optimized for performance and reliability while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines. Roles & Responsibilities: oAdminister and support Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022). oManage and maintain VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi hosts. oOversee patch management lifecycle using Tanium, SCCM, or equivalent tools. oPerform vulnerability assessment and remediation, ensuring timely closure of security findings. oDevelop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, or other tools) for patching, compliance reporting, and system health checks. oLead root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for system, performance, and infrastructure issues. oEnsure compliance with corporate security and IT governance policies. oCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Network, and Application) to ensure seamless operations. oMaintain comprehensive operational and technical documentation. Professional & Technical Skills: o8+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization. oHands-on expertise with Tanium for patching, compliance, and endpoint management. oProven experience in automation using PowerShell or other scripting languages. oStrong background in vulnerability remediation and security compliance. oExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. oFamiliarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management). oEffective communication and documentation skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in VMware Virtualization Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
