Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating discussions to address challenges, and guiding your team in implementing effective solutions. You will also engage in strategic planning to align application development with organizational goals, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved throughout the process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills. - Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines. - Act as a liaison between the IT and Corporate Functions (e.g. Finance, Compliance, and others) - Design integrated process, applications, data and technology solutions in accordance with the Enterprise IT strategy - Implement Information Security requirements according to group-wide standards - Participate in agile projects Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux/Unix Desktop Management (preferably RH) and SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL), Knowledge of scripting (Unix Shell Scripts, Perl, Python etc.) or development in high-level programming languages, ISO 27k Information Security Framework - Good To Have Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL, Perl Scripts, Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of system administration and configuration management. - Experience with application deployment and troubleshooting in Linux/Unix environments. - Familiarity with scripting languages to automate tasks and improve efficiency. - Experience with system monitoring and event analysis - Knowledge in standard technologies and open minded for future trends Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Linux/Unix Desktop Management. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
