Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, drive campaign messaging, knowledge management, and award submissions to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions align with the overall objectives of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate with engineering teams to translate deep-tech work (Chaos Engineering, Resilience, Inner Source, etc.) into engaging narratives. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Create high-quality internal newsletters, developer portal content, SharePoint assets, and technical case studies - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Structure documentation across platforms like Confluence, GitLab, SharePoint, etc. - Continuously assess and improve team processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Technical Writing. - Strong ability to create clear and concise documentation for software applications. - Must understand tech concepts--this is not a translation role - Experience in developing user manuals, technical specifications, and online help documentation. - Samples of publicly accessible work (e.g., blogs, LinkedIn posts, docs) highly preferred - Familiarity with various documentation tools and software. - Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Technical Writing. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Strong technical background is a must (ideally engineering/CS degree)
