Summary: As a Data Engineer on the Skywise platform, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, process, and transform large volumes of aviation and operational data. You will work with airlines, OEMs, and internal Airbus teams to integrate diverse datasets into the Skywise ecosystem using best-practice ETL/ELT methods. Responsibilities include optimizing data models, ensuring data quality and governance, implementing real-time and batch pipelines, and enabling analytics, dashboards, and machine-learning use cases across the aviation ecosystem. You will collaborate with product, platform, and analytics teams to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions on cloud-native Skywise infrastructure. Professional & Technical Skills: - Python for data manipulation, ETL/ELT workflows, automation - SQL (advanced) for analytical queries, transformations, schema design - Big Data Technologies: PySpark Roles & Responsibilities: - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Mentor junior team members to foster their professional growth. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 4-5 years of experience in Python (Programming Language). - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15-year full time education is required.
