Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to align with business process design and application requirements, ensuring that all configurations meet the specified standards and contribute to the overall project goals. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the software solutions are effectively tailored to meet the needs of the organization, while also maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency throughout the process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software configuration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide insights for effective configuration management. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries. - Strong understanding of software configuration management principles and practices. - Experience with customization and configuration of software applications to meet business needs. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot configuration issues effectively. - Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries. - This position is based at our Ahmedabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
