Key Responsibilities

Custody & Material Handling

Maintain secure custody of precious metals, semi-finished, and finished products during receipt, storage, transfer, and dispatch. Handle materials in accordance with plant SOPs, security guidelines, and purity control standards. Ensure correct segregation, labeling, sealing, and storage of materials.

Inventory & Documentation

Record all inward and outward movements accurately in physical registers and ERP systems. Perform daily stock verification and support periodic audits and reconciliations. Maintain complete and accurate documentation (GRNs, delivery challans, transfer notes, gate passes).

Logistics Operations

Coordinate with internal departments (production, quality, security, finance) for timely material movement. Assist in packing, weighing, sealing, and dispatch of gold bars or related materials. Support receipt of raw materials and consumables as per approved procedures.

Security & Compliance

Adhere strictly to plant security protocols, access controls, and surveillance procedures. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal audit requirements related to precious metals. Immediately report discrepancies, losses, damages, or security concerns.
