About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Curriculum Writer who can turn complex IoT and electronics concepts into clear, engaging textbook lessons K-12. You'll develop structured content--explanations, activities, assessments, and project ideas. You should be comfortable simplifying technical topics such as sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, embedded programming, and IoT systems into student-friendly, activity-based lessons.
Key Responsibilities
? Develop lesson content based on the provided curriculum (IoT, electronics, automation, networking).
? Write clear concept explanations, activities, procedures, assessments, and project briefs.
? Simplify technical topics (sensors, actuators, ESP32, Embedded C, Python, circuits, MQTT, Wi-Fi).
? Collaborate with SMEs and teachers for accuracy and classroom alignment.
? Provide concise briefs for graphic designers (diagrams, illustrations, activity visuals).
? Ensure structured, age-appropriate, error-free instructional content.
? Maintain consistency across modules and grades.
Must-Have Skills
? Strong writing ability with a clean, student-friendly tone.
? Ability to simplify technical concepts using analogies, examples, and visuals.
? Basic understanding of electronics, sensors, GPIO, microcontrollers, and IoT fundamentals.
? Comfort with instructional design--objectives, activities, assessments, step-by-step tasks.
? Familiarity with MS Word/Google Docs, Tinkercad simulations, and block-based coding tools (e.g., TIF Studio).
? Ability to work with SMEs, teachers, and designers.
Nice to Have (Optional)
? Experience writing STEM or K-12 educational content.
? Exposure to Raspberry Pi, ESP32, Embedded C, Python, MQTT, or Scratch-like environments.
? Classroom or teaching experience.
