Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary curriculum (Grades 1 - 8), ensuring every learner experiences a coherent, engaging, and outcomes-driven programme that reflects both Cambridge standards and the school's vision.

Curriculum Planning & Alignment
Map Cambridge frameworks (English, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Global Perspectives, etc.) across grade levels to ensure vertical continuity and horizontal balance.
Embed cross-curricular links and inclusive practices.
Publish annual scope-and-sequence, unit plans, and pacing guides.
Assessment & Data Literacy
Schedule and administer Cambridge Progression Tests & Checkpoint exams.
Develop formative and summative assessment banks aligned to learning objectives.
Analyse results; generate data dashboards; guide teachers in targeted interventions.
Teacher Coaching & Professional Development
Observe lessons and provide actionable feedback.
Identify , discuss & facilitate at least one PD session per month on Cambridge pedagogy, differentiation, and assessment.
Mentor new teachers in curriculum design and Cambridge documentation.
Resource & Budget Management
Audit and recommend textbooks, manipulatives, and digital tools.
Coordinate shared resource banks.
Manage annual subject budgets [ resource management ] in consultation with Curriculum &Training head
Prepare evidence for Cambridge school self-evaluation and inspections.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure policies (assessment, academic honesty, SEN) align with Cambridge regulations.
Maintain updated records of schemes of work, marksheets, moderation samples.
Stakeholder Communication
Lead curriculum briefings for parents each term along with the VP.
Submit curriculum progress reports to SLT.
Represent the school in Cambridge network meetings/webinars.
3. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed. or equivalent); Master's preferred
Cambridge PDQ / Cambridge Curriculum training certificates highly desirable
Minimum 5 years' teaching experience within Cambridge Primary or Lower Secondary; at least 2 years in a coordination or middle-leadership role
Proven track record of raising student achievement through data-informed practice
