Job Description

CURRICULUM COORDINATOR



This position requires strong academic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and administrative staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Fair understanding of National educational standards. (NEP 2020, NCF 2023 & CBSE portal) Lead the development of syllabuses, resources, lesson plans, methodology, activities, assessments, evaluation criteria, appreciation and awareness on other teaching learning strategies. Understanding child centered pedagogies and leading the team to develop customized lesson plans meeting the student needs to develop their personal skills, emotional wellbeing and promote academic excellence. Monitoring classroom curriculum delivery to maintain high quality education in accordance with our institutional values and educational goals. Facilitating and creating a learning environment that enables students to achieve their true potential and supporting the overall progress for holistic development of students. Planning and overseeing daily timetable, monthly and yearly academic calendars Tracking students' academic progress and challenges through systematic observation and analysis. Quality checking of student engagement, lesson plans, assessments papers and procedures. Development of school area wise student Behavior policy and Classroom management strategies and life skills sessions. Creating a safe, calm, joyful and caring environment to ensure students' healthy development. Preparation of students' mindset and academic profiles and review sessions with class teachers and parents/caregivers. Collaboration with teachers in creating curriculum plan, customized lesson plans and assessments strategies. Supporting teachers' professional growth and personal wellbeing. Tracking teachers' unavailability and scheduling sessions with alternative plans. Establishing and maintaining supportive relationships with individual students and their parents/caregivers. Organizing regular Parent Teacher meetings to discuss student progress and development or challenges with personalized inputs for improvement.

Attend school curricular system related operations and development.

Liaison with other departments for transparent and smooth execution of responsibilities.

Conducting staff meetings, organizing major events- art of meticulous planning and time management. Managing student records and providing summary reports internally. Ensuring the effective administration and upkeep of data and records, including electronic and paper-based records for staff, students, and parents. Excellent working knowledge of safeguarding and 'Keeping children safe in education'.
