The Curriculum & Academics Officer is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of
high-quality, subject-wise curriculum
and academic programs for the online school. This role ensures that learning content, teaching strategies, and assessment systems align with international standards, educational best practices, and the school's vision. Additionally, the officer collaborates with the marketing team to ensure curriculum highlights and academic strengths are effectively communicated in promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Development & Design
Develop, review, and update
subject-wise curriculum frameworks
, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
Ensure curriculum is aligned with educational standards, school philosophy, and online learning methodologies.
Integrate
digital learning tools, e-learning platforms, and interactive resources
into the curriculum.
Collaborate with academic teams to ensure
consistent learning progression
across subjects and grade levels.
2. Academic Quality & Delivery
Monitor teaching effectiveness and provide constructive feedback to educators.
Ensure consistency and quality in teaching, assessments, and learning outcomes.
Oversee the development of
assessment tools, grading policies, and academic reporting systems
.
3. Teacher Support & Training
Support teachers in
subject-wise curriculum planning
, lesson design, and instructional strategies.
Conduct
training sessions and workshops
for educators on online pedagogy and technology integration.
Provide ongoing academic guidance and mentorship to teaching staff.
4. Student Learning & Outcomes
Monitor student performance and progress to ensure learning objectives are achieved.
Recommend interventions and support programs to enhance academic success.
Promote innovative teaching and learning practices to engage students in a virtual environment.
5. Marketing & Communication Support
Work with the marketing team to
highlight curriculum strengths, academic achievements, and subject innovations
in promotional content.
Ensure all academic messaging aligns with the school's
brand, vision, and educational standards
.
6. Administration & Reporting
Maintain academic records, curriculum documentation, and compliance reports.
Collaborate with school leadership to evaluate academic performance and propose improvements.
Coordinate with accreditation bodies and ensure compliance with academic standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of
online learning platforms (LMS, e-learning tools, digital content)
.
Experience in
curriculum design, subject-wise academic planning, and instructional leadership
.
Excellent
communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
.
Ability to
train and support teachers
in online pedagogy.
Passion for

Familiarity with
