Job Title:

Current Affairs & Science Faculty - PSC Coaching

:

The Current Affairs & Science Faculty is responsible for training PSC aspirants in General Science and Current Affairs as per the Kerala PSC syllabus and examination pattern. The role involves delivering concept-based, exam-oriented classes, integrating current developments with static science topics, and preparing students for objective and descriptive examinations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Teach

General Science

topics including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environment, and basic Technology relevant to PSC exams. Deliver

Current Affairs

classes covering national, international, Kerala-specific events, science & technology updates, and government schemes. Prepare

PSC-oriented study materials

, notes, handouts, and question banks. Conduct

regular mock tests, quizzes, and revision sessions

based on PSC exam trends. Analyze

previous years' PSC question papers

and train students accordingly. Integrate current affairs with static science portions for better conceptual understanding. Simplify complex scientific concepts using examples, charts, and real-life applications. Provide

doubt-clearing sessions

and individual academic guidance to students. Track student performance and provide feedback for improvement. Stay updated with PSC notifications, syllabus changes, and exam patterns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Science (B.Sc.)

or related discipline (Master's degree preferred). Strong knowledge of

General Science and Current Affairs

relevant to Kerala PSC exams. Good command of

English and Malayalam

. Ability to prepare exam-oriented content and objective questions. Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.

Experience:

1-3 years

of teaching experience in PSC coaching institutes preferred. Proven experience in handling

Current Affairs and Science classes

for competitive exams. Experience in preparing study materials and mock tests is an added advantage. Fresh candidates with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also be considered.
