Job Description

The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for Cummins diesel and gas engines, generators, and related equipment. The role ensures optimal performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction through on-site service, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

diagnosis, repair, and maintenance

of Cummins engines, generators, and allied systems. Conduct

troubleshooting using Cummins INSITE software

and other diagnostic tools. Carry out

preventive maintenance

, commissioning, and installation of engines and gensets. Respond promptly to

service calls

and provide on-site support to customers. Prepare

service reports

, failure analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure

compliance with Cummins service standards

and safety protocols. Assist customers in understanding engine operations, maintenance schedules, and part replacements. Coordinate with parts and warranty teams for replacement claims and technical issues. Provide

technical feedback

to the engineering and product support teams. Participate in

training programs

to stay updated on new Cummins products and technologies.
