We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Cultural coordinater who coordinate cultural programs, events, and initiatives within our organization. The Cultural coordinater will play a key role in promoting cultural awareness, engagement, and appreciation among our stakeholders. This position requires a creative and strategic thinker who is passionate about arts, heritage, and cultural diversity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cultural programs and activities that align with the University mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, artists, cultural organizations, and community partners to plan and execute events, exhibitions, performances, and workshops.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for cultural projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to deadlines.
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional efforts to raise awareness and attract audiences to cultural events and initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with sponsors, donors, and funding agencies to secure financial support for cultural projects and programs.
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of cultural initiatives through audience feedback, surveys, and other evaluation methods.
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in the cultural sector, including new artistic practices, emerging artists, and funding opportunities.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in cultural programming and ensure representation of diverse perspectives and voices.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff and volunteers involved in cultural activities, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Represent the organization in cultural forums, conferences, and networking events, building partnerships and promoting the organization\'s cultural initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • Proven 3 experience in cultural programming, event planning, or arts management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies for cultural events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as needed for events and activities.
