Core Responsibilities

Technical Vision & Product Roadmap:

Define and own the long-term technology vision, ensuring the architecture supports a scalable product roadmap and aligns with business growth targets.

Product Development Oversight:

Lead end-to-end product development lifecycles, from initial MVP to iterative feature launches, prioritizing user experience and market demand.

WordPress Ecosystem Leadership:

Oversee the development of custom themes, advanced plugins, and headless WordPress architectures (using React/Vue) to deliver enterprise-grade performance.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of strategic ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

Scalability & Performance:

Ensure platform reliability and performance at scale, utilizing modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and edge computing to handle high traffic and global distribution.

Cybersecurity & Compliance:

Establish robust security frameworks, including data protection (GDPR/CCPA) and secure software development lifecycles, to protect both company and customer assets.

Budget & Resource Management:

Manage technology budgets and resource allocation, optimizing for ROI on technical investments and third-party vendor relationships.

Key Requirements

Professional Experience:

10-15+ years in software development with significant experience in senior technical leadership or executive roles.

Product Development Mastery:

Proven track record of building and scaling digital products, preferably in a SaaS or fast-growth startup environment.

WordPress Expertise:

Deep technical knowledge of the WordPress core, PHP, MySQL, and modern JavaScript (Node.js/React) for advanced customization and integration.

Strategic Thinking:

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for stakeholders, investors, and board members.

Adaptability:

Proven success in navigating rapidly changing tech landscapes, including integrating AI and automation into existing product workflows.

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field; an MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred.

Preferred Skills

AI Integration:

Experience embedding AI/ML models into production systems to enhance product features and operational efficiency.

Infrastructure Innovation:

Familiarity with serverless architectures, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and hybrid cloud models.

Stakeholder Diplomacy:

Exceptional communication skills to build buy-in for long-term technical investments among non-technical executives
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
