We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Lead and drive deliverables end to end.
• Mentoring team members to deliver with new ways of working.
• The ITSO and problem management role takes an increasing amount of time - this role is to manage those task backlogs.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users and various teams, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle as and when required.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Should be able to handle individual task with minimum supervision.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Capable of working on all areas of the application stack but having a preference and possibly most experience in Java and Mainframes. Experience required around 12-14 years.
• Individual who has ability to understand current and the next generation of Global Disbursements architecture and also ability to manage service management responsibilities right from ITIL, Incident management and Problem Management.
• Full stack engineer with ability to re-engineer current platform to Micro-services laden architecture and define new re-usable micro components using latest programming technologies and Java.
• Good hands-on preferably on creating- design and development of database applications, web-based applications, APIs. Good understanding of DevOps and CICD.
• Must Haves- Knowledge of Service, Problem and Incident Management. Nice to have: - Java, Spring boot, JPA, Database, Mainframe IBM Z series, DB2, CICS. Cloud Knowledge Desirable (Kubernetes), Payments domain Knowledge, DevOps Ability to optimise Application and database performance. Experience with cloud technologies a plus
• Strong knowledge and experience in Agile discipline and the ability put the discipline into practice. Should be able to troubleshoot any infrastructure related issues independently.
• Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data). Good analytical and problem analysis skills.
• Experience of planning and prioritizing their own time effectively, aware of their responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently. Experience managing multiple deliveries for mission critical payment systems.
• Should be excellent team member and work as a cross-functional team member and liaise with other Specialists. Should take care of Team leading and team building activities.
