Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and certified

CT Technician

to join our radiology department. The CT Technician will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise, attention to detail, and a patient-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CT scanning equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures. Follow imaging protocols and physician instructions for specific body areas. Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Review and evaluate images for clarity and accuracy before forwarding to radiologist. Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and imaging reports. Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and PPE guidelines. Prepare contrast media and monitor patient reactions, if applicable. Coordinate with radiologists and physicians for urgent or critical findings. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the imaging room and equipment area.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology. Certified in CT scan operation; AERB registration preferred. 1-3 years of experience operating CT equipment in a hospital or diagnostic center. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and image acquisition techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle patients calmly. Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends or emergency duties if required.
